Gypsy Gold’s Rose was imported in 2000, and was sired by The Lion King, out of the UK mare, Flash. She was a beautiful, heavy, hairy mare, whose exceptional disposition and character shine through in her foals.

This mare was everything her pedigree promised she would be. She was a fantastic producer for us over the years. She is the dam of one of our current main mares, GG Fred Walker, and the granddam to our stallion, GG The Walker Horse. Rose, along with The Road Sweeper, was bred by Fred Walker, known as “The King of the Colored Horses”. It was an honor to include her in our program.
