GG DIAMOND GIRL was an invaluable broodmare here at Gypsy Gold, representing some of the best genetics in this country. A daughter of Latcho Drom, she is out of GG Birthday Girl, a daughter of The Gypsy King and the wonderful foundation mare, Shampoo Girl.

Diamond Girl enjoyed a couple of years on display at the famed Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida, giving pony rides to kids, and introducing the world to our wonderful breed. She had a very sweet disposition and would follow you around like a puppy, she always wanted attention from everyone.

Not only was this exceptional mare beautiful, correct in conformation and sweet, she proved to be an exceptional producer. Diamond left us with six foals, the youngest of which, GG Diamond Jimmy, was her final gift to us. Jimmy, as well as Diamond’s daughter, GG Taylor-Burton, will continue Diamond’s legacy here at Gypsy Gold.
